U3-IZK4 Portable Earthing Device
Specialized protective equipment dedicated to the safe earthing and short-circuiting of circuits in IZK-4 type fuse boxes. An essential component for maintenance works on lighting networks.
- Short-Circuit Current Ir: 4 kA / 1 s
- Cable Cross-Section: 25 mm² (Cu)
- Compatibility: IZK-4-01, IZK-4-02
- Standard: PN-EN 61230:2011
Advantages of the U3-IZK4 Earthing Device
System Integration
Designed strictly to match the dimensions of IZK-4-01 and IZK-4-02 fuse boxes, ensuring a secure connection and eliminating the risk of installation errors.
High Durability
Tested for a short-circuit current of 4 kA for a duration of 1 s. A peak factor of n=2 confirms resistance to heavy electrodynamic forces.
Pole Ergonomics
Cable lengths (1.5 m and 0.5 m) have been optimized for operation within the tight recesses of lighting poles.

Design and Diagram
Kit Components:
- Phase clamps dedicated to IZK-4
- Short-circuiting cables (L2)
- Earthing cluster (three-clamp U3 configuration)
- Earthing cable (L1)
- Earth clamp (WR-2)
- Protective cable insulation (transparent PVC)
Instructions for Use
- Check the technical condition of the earthing device and the validity of its periodic inspection date.
- Clean the connection area for the earth clamp on the pole structure.
- Connect the earth clamp (5) first and tighten it to a torque of 8 Nm.
- Verify the absence of voltage in the IZK-4 fuse boxes.
- Fit the phase clamps (1) one by one onto the contacts of the IZK-4-01/02 fuse boxes.
- Upon completion of the work, carry out disassembly in reverse order (the earth clamp is removed last).
Note: OHS protective equipment. Use strictly in accordance with its intended purpose and the current instructions.
