Refrigeration / Evaporation Systems
Immersion Tubes
A specialized component of the hot tube, immersed in the condensate tray for its effective evaporation. The factory heat-shrink sleeve provides an essential barrier protecting the metal from the aggressive action of the condensate.
- Application: Condensate Evaporation
- Insulation: Heat-Shrink Sleeve
- Diameters: 4 mm - 10 mm
- Cleanliness: DIN 8964 Standard
Protection in Aggressive Condensate Environments
Acid-Resistant Barrier
Condensate in trays is most often characterized by an acidic pH. The applied heat-shrink sleeve permanently insulates the hot tube, preventing acids from causing corrosion, which is critical for the trouble-free operation of the entire system.

Function of the Sleeve in the Condensation System
The immersion tube disposes of condensate by evaporating it from the tray. In this process, the heat-shrink protection plays a key technical role:
- Protection Against Acidic pH: Prevents direct contact of aggressive acids from the condensate with the surface of the hot tube.
- Corrosion Elimination: Thanks to the insulation, the tube material remains intact despite constant contact with moisture and condensate.
- Process Safety: Guarantees that the technical parameters of the tube are maintained throughout the entire operational lifetime of the refrigeration appliance.
Compliance with the DIN 8964 standard ensures that the inside of the tubes is completely free of contaminants, protecting the flow path patency of the system.
