Principles, Values, and Standards of Conduct Shaping the Work Culture and Relations With the Environment at SINTUR Sp. z o.o.
Introduction
The objective of the Code of Ethics is to shape an appropriate culture of life, particularly the work culture within the Company and between the Company and its environment.
The Code encompasses the main principles of conduct for the Employees of SINTUR Sp. z o.o. within the scope of broadly understood professional and social ethics, ensuring the fulfillment of the company's mission, the execution of its development strategy, as well as Customer satisfaction. This Code has been developed on the basis of generally accepted rules of social coexistence.
The recommendations contained in the Code are unable to foresee all issues and problems that may arise in daily work; therefore, the code provisions define only general and fundamental rules of conduct across all fields of professional activity. The principles of the Code apply to every individual employed at SINTUR Sp. z o.o., at every level of the corporate organizational hierarchy.
We all have a particular obligation to respect and adhere to the Code of Ethics, and any violations thereof will result in disciplinary measures in accordance with applicable law.

The mission of SINTUR Sp. z o.o. is to ensure the continuous development of the enterprise and to meet Customer requirements by maintaining a high level of quality in the manufactured and sold components for refrigeration products and products for the power engineering industry.

I. General Ethical Principles Binding at SINTUR Sp. z o.o.
Business Integrity
The Management Board and Employees of SINTUR Sp. z o.o. are fully aware that ethical values occupy a vital position among the elements determining the corporate image. Consequently, we do not employ unethical or illegal business practices.
We believe that adhering to business ethics provides a competitive advantage and strengthens the Company's reputation. We strive to ensure that the relations connecting us with Contractors, Customers, and our numerous competitors are based on honesty and the principles of fair play competition. We also expect our Partners to join us in supporting fair competition and condemning all forms of unfair practices aimed at gaining undue advantages.
II. Commitments to Customers and Commercial Partners
Customer satisfaction constitutes our overriding value. We are characterized by:
High Quality of Customer Service
- We strive to meet Customer expectations and aim to provide them with maximum satisfaction from the offered products and services.
- We are committed to efficient and courteous customer service, maintaining an attitude of dialogue and seeking opportunities for cooperation with the Customer, while avoiding tactless words or behaviors that are impolite and contrary to good manners.
- We treat all Customers equally and accept the execution of orders only if we can fulfill them properly and on time.
- We honor both written commitments in contracts and verbal promises; we respect appointment times, arriving always punctually, and we deliver our offers within the agreed deadline.
- We acknowledge our mistakes and strive to rectify them. We react immediately to errors so that they can be corrected as quickly as possible.
- Our Customers have the right to full information regarding the products and services within our portfolio, their prices, commercial terms, and any circumstances affecting order fulfillment and mutual relations.
Reliability / Prohibition of Falsification
- We ensure that informing Customers about our products and services does not abuse their trust, exploit a lack of experience or knowledge, or mislead them.
- Counterfeiting, altering, or any other forms of falsifying any kind of documents, as well as using such documentation, is strictly prohibited.
- We make promises to the Customer that align with our current operational capabilities and accepted corporate standards.
Information Confidentiality
- We do not disclose information regarding the scope of cooperation with a Customer to third parties.
- We strictly adhere to the principle of confidentiality for information received from Customers or Contractors.
III. Commitments to Employees
SINTUR employs workers in accordance with the labor laws binding in Poland, and likewise respects the Fundamental Social Principles contained in the Conventions of the International Labour Organization, particularly regarding issues such as:
- • Child Labor
- a prohibition on child labor is in force; juvenile employees are subject to protection resulting from generally binding regulations; - • Forced Labor
- a prohibition on forced labor, a prohibition on restricting freedom of movement, and a prohibition on retaining any identity documents are in force;
- all behaviors contrary to law, ethics, and principles of social coexistence, particularly behaviors aimed at inhumane treatment, are forbidden and unacceptable; - • Non-discrimination;
- • The right to organize and the right to collective bargaining and disputes between employers and employees;
- • Occupational Health and Safety;
- • Working time, in particular: working hour standards, restriction of an employee's working time to a maximum of 60 hours per week, schedules, recording, settlement of working time, and the rest periods due to the employee;
- • Remuneration for work, including the employee's right to full information regarding the calculation method and components of remuneration, presented in a personal paper form (so-called "payslips").
Adhering to ethical standards in the workplace and accepted behavioral patterns is one of the fundamental sources of the Company's stability and success. We realize that creating a favorable climate in the workplace leads to strengthening the bonds between Employees and the Company and fosters the efficiency of their actions.
Equal Opportunities for All Employees
- All Employees are treated equally regarding employment terms and have guaranteed equal access to promotion and training to raise their professional qualifications – in accordance with objective employee evaluation criteria.
- Employment terms, access to promotion, and training are identical for all Employees regardless of age, sex, marital status, nationality, race, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or political beliefs.
Development and Remuneration of Employees
- Employees should strive for continuous self-improvement and for achieving the best possible results at work commensurate with their knowledge, experience, qualifications, and abilities.
- SINTUR encourages employees toward personal and professional development. One of its aims is to ensure everyone has equal access to vocational training, so that every employee can maintain and develop their skills.
Discrimination and Harassment
- Relations between Employees, regardless of their positions, constitute a model of good manners, honesty, loyalty, mutual trust, respect, and regard for personal dignity.
- The Company guarantees trade union organizations operating on its premises all rights resulting from the Act on Trade Unions and other generally binding regulations, including, in particular, regulations on the prohibition of discrimination against trade union members and the right to associate.
- At SINTUR Sp. z o.o., no form of harassment, persecution, or humiliation of Employees is tolerated, and every Employee of the Company is obliged to condemn and report any manifestations of mobbing and discrimination within the Company.
- The following are prohibited:
· using mobbing in any form, and in particular: humiliating, insulting, abusing, and intimidating other Employees,
· exploiting one's position in the Company to gain personal benefits or violating the personal rights of other Employees,
· disseminating false information, rumors, or slander concerning other Employees of the Company.
Examples of Appropriate Employee Conduct
During the performance of duties, we jointly build collaborative relations. We are open and kind toward coworkers. We look after our credibility by keeping promises. We help one another by effectively sharing knowledge and information.
- We create an atmosphere of open and direct expression of opinions.
- We treat others as we would like to be treated ourselves.
- In any situation where we compete with one another (e.g., internal contests), we are guided by the principles of fair play.
- We promote the actual authors of successes and achievements; we do not attribute the merits of other individuals to ourselves.
- We strive for an amicable resolution of disputed matters in an atmosphere of fellowship and respect for diversity of opinions. Our likes and dislikes must not affect task execution.
- We willingly share professional knowledge and experience with other Employees.
- We value and respect the knowledge, experience, qualifications, and views of other Employees.
- We jointly maintain a good working atmosphere based on ethical principles and high personal culture, fostering operational efficiency.
- We care for good interpersonal relations by adhering to generally accepted rules of correct behavior and respect for human rights.
- Out of respect for the religious feelings of employees, the Employer declares to establish a place for worship (a prayer space) immediately, no later than within 14 days from the date of submitting such a request.
- Working in a team, we strive for harmonious cooperation and the elimination of conflict situations.
- In stressful moments, we control our emotions and are guided by the principle of professionalism.
- We are not afraid to express and accept criticism, recognizing in it opportunities for improvement.
Our Company considers itself an integral and responsible part of society and the community in which it functions; therefore, we unconditionally commit ourselves to the principle of respect for the law and social rules, as well as the recognition and observance of the Fundamental Human Rights contained in the Declaration of Human Rights. Relations between Employees, regardless of their positions, constitute a model of good manners, honesty, loyalty, mutual trust, respect, and regard for personal dignity. Every Employee is obliged to maintain the highest level of personal culture, present high ethical and moral values, neatness, and cleanliness, being mindful of the generally binding rules of social coexistence and aware of representing the Company's image.
IV. Commitments of the Parties to the Employment Relationship
Compliance With Law, Rules, and Regulations
- Employees act in accordance with the principle of legality, applying procedures resulting from generally binding regulations as well as internal regulations of the Company.
- Employees perform their duties with particular diligence, in accordance with applicable law, guided by the interests of the Company.
- Employees do not disclose proprietary information if its disclosure could endanger the Employer's interests or be contrary to applicable legal regulations.
- The use of pecuniary penalties is prohibited in the company, except in situations permitted by generally binding labor law regulations.
Information Protection
- Employees of the Company are obliged to exercise the utmost diligence regarding the protection of all information acquired during the performance of their professional duties.
- Employees maintain the confidentiality of information concerning prices, commercial terms, and any other data that would harm the interests of SINTUR Sp. z o.o., the interests of our Customers and Suppliers, or applicable legal regulations.
- During the term of employment as well as after its termination, Employees are obliged to keep secret all non-public information obtained during their work at SINTUR Sp. z o.o., and to secure this information from unauthorized access or use.
Competition and Fair Dealing, Anti-Corruption Principles
- Engaging in competitive activity is prohibited within the Company, particularly cooperation with companies competitive to the Company, i.e., those whose interests collide with the interests of SINTUR Sp. z o.o.
- It is prohibited to personally accept from any persons or companies that have established, or are seeking to establish, cooperation with the company:
· any discounts, commissions, or other forms of remuneration,
· loans or advances other than those obtained from banking or financial institutions on market terms,
· goods, equipment, services, repair, and modernization works without payment or with a price on the invoice that does not reflect the rates binding on the market, and
· invitations, gifts in any form (tangible or intangible), or benefits (financial or legal) of extravagant value or reserved for a single employee or a very limited group of employees. - In case of any doubts, the employee consults with their supervisor.
Misuse of Company Devices, Property, and Time
Employees utilize the entrusted company property (vehicles, phones, computers, office space, commercial software, etc.) exclusively for the purpose and within the scope of performing their official duties – on the terms defined within the company.
Professionalism
Employees may use their authorized powers exclusively to achieve the objectives for which these powers were entrusted to them.
Loyalty
Employees care for the assets, image, and good reputation of the Company and its Employees, demonstrating due diligence and prudence.
External Appearance
Employees of SINTUR Sp. z o.o. are obliged to care for an appropriate, neat, and dignified appearance, remembering that appearance at work exerts a significant influence on the opinion of Customers regarding the Employee and the represented Company.
V. Commitments to Partners and Suppliers
- SINTUR Sp. z o.o. strives to maintain and develop good relations with its Contractors, Suppliers, and Business Partners.
- When selecting goods or services, Employees are guided primarily by price and quality criteria and opt for admitting the broadest possible range of competitive companies.
- Employees base mutual relations on trust.
- Employees adhere to integrity in settling their financial obligations.
